A deal marked buy here, pay here gets a payment account. Open Accounts to see what's owed, what's past due and what's paid off.

• Record a payment by cash, check, card or any method. It's applied to the oldest amount due first.
• A mistaken payment is reversed, never erased, so the history stays honest.
• Add a charge by hand when your contract allows one, such as a late fee you've set.
• Print a statement or a receipt for any payment.
• Turn on reminders to email customers before a payment is due and when it's late.
